The first edition of this scarce work on fasting and health by Hereward Carrington (1880-1958), a British psychical researcher who is best known for his many significant works on the subjects of psychical research and spiritualism. Slightly shaken, cloth rubbed and a bit darkened, a bit of bubbling to cloth of rear board, spine sunned, spine ends and corners bruised and lightly chafed, edges lightly chafed, page edges darkened and lightly thumbed, front blank has owner's name in pen & a news clipping regarding fasting tipped in at inner margin, pages toned with a small amount of underlining to some pages - but mostly clean.
