From the editorial note: "Egyptian Religious Texts and Representations comprises a series of publications on Egyptian religion which include the complete photographic recording of hitherto unpublished royal tombs, important mythological papyri, and miscellaneous cosmological texts and symbolical representations. The series includes, where possible, the full translation of texts." A complete set of this massive project - the publication of which took nearly two decades to complete publication. All volumes are complete with dust jackets and or slipcases where called for, and have been well cared for and are thus in VG+ - near Fine condition: a little darkening to page edges, top edges darkened and dusty, a few very light bumps, all are tight and unmarked. The plain paper printed dust jackets are lightly rubbed at edges, creased at inner flaps, a bit darkened with some light spot soil, a few short tears and chips, one is price clipped. The Ramesses VI and Tut-Ankh-Amon volumes did not come with dust jackets as such, although they did have plain brown paper protective covers which were meant to be discarded. They have been retained in this set, although they have had small rectangles spine excised from the spine in order to allow the titling to show - but all are otherwise VG or better. The clothbound slipcases with printed title panels are also just lightly worn with a few bumps, and a bit of chafing and rubbing. Rarely found in complete set and even more rare in such good condition. Please note what might appear as discoloration in the accompanying photograph is simply reflection from the mylar protective sleeves which have been added. Very large and heavy group - shipping to all destinations will be at cost. Item #63293
