The scarce first book by the "Queen of the Sabbat and the Highpriest of the Sheffield Coven of Witches" Patricia Crowther (b. 1927) and her then-husband Arnold Crowther (1909-1974). Patricia Crowther was initiated into witchcraft by Gerald Gardner in 1960 and became the High Priestess of the Sheffield Coven which she and her then-husband founded in 1961. Covers lightly rubbed, cover and spine edges lightly chafed, page edges unevenly darkened, Helios bookshop sticker on first leaf. Light but blotchy browning to inside covers & first and last few leaves. Previous owner has neatly penned the title and author on the spine - which is ordinarily plain white. Otherwise a clean VG copy. Quite scarce. Item #64257
