The first edition of this collection of translations of Steiner's "mantric verse". The selection from Wahrspruchworte are in parallel German / English text, as are the "Verses for Children," "Verses for the Dead" and two renderings of "The Foundation Stone" which, with the Foreword, make up over half the book. The rest comprises verse passages from Mystery Dramas and the Prose passages which are in translation only.
