Original brown wrappers with black lettering to the upper cover, in text illustrations. Index. A study of the iconographic forms and historical setting of the Unicorn motif in mediaeval Islamic art. Wrappers a bit darkened and rubbed overall, spine darkened and creased, all edges and extremities chafed and lightly chipped, upper wrapper has a vertical crease and a two inch chip at fore-edge, one inch chip at upper spine. Pages lightly toned, some chipping to upper fore-edge of early pages, ink stamp at lower edge of copyright page. Despites its flaws a solid, serviceable copy of an uncommon edition. Item #64319
