Essays, Kabbalistic, Magical and Philosophical: an interesting collection by Crowley at his mature best. The First English edition. There are two binding variants known - this is the one where the bottom of the sloping 'leg' of the letter R in 'Toward' and 'Truth' on the front board is extends below the bottom edge of the other letters in the words on that line. A little leaned. Cloth very lightly rubbed and with some significant spot fading/discolouration to front board, corners bruised and lightly chafed. Page edges and endpapers a bit darkened and foxed, all pages lightly browned with moderate foxing throughout. A tight and unmarked VG copy (typically it is lacking the fragile and seldom-seen dust jacket). Item #64750
