Two pages of preliminaries, and fifty pages of text, the last of which is blank, whilst the penultimate page reproduces Crowley's Liber Oz. Motta's study of Freemasonry and Christianity, with particular focus on Roman Catholicism, in the form of a "Letter to a Brazilian Mason" ("Carta a um Maçom") that is an open letter written on July 9, 1963 e.v., to an Osirian Mason, "D. G." (Doctor Luiz Gastão da Costa e Souza, of Petrópolis, Rio de Janeiro state). The "letter" was privately circulated in duplicated form, first in Portuguese and then in English, this is the first published edition. From the collection of Clive Harper with his discrete book-label neatly tipped in at the rear. Harper is well- known as the bibliographer of Austin Osman Spare, for updating the Aleister Crowley bibliography in the 2011 Teitan Press collection of Gerald Yorke's writings, and as someone who has lent his expertise to numerous other publications. Small abraded patch (about the size of a figernail) on the title-page where a price sicker has been removed. Otherise a tight clean copy in near Fine condition. Item #65391
