NP: Privately Published, ND (circa 1890s). First Edition. Hardcover. Large octavo. 170pp. Original black cloth with gilt title etc. to cover and spine, top edge gilt. Issued without title-page or publishing data, but sometimes attributed to Albert Pike. Appears to be a collection of background material for various of the 19th through 30th Degrees of the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry. Cloth lightly rubbed and faded, corners and spine ends lightly bumped and chafed, endpapers unevenly browned, pages lightly toned, a few spots to the fore-edge. Showing its age, but still a sound VG copy of an unusual book. (no dust jacket issued). Item #66027
