A cheaply produced reprint of the first half of this famous address delivered by Pike before the Grand Lodge of Louisiana, in 1858 and published by order of the Grand Lodge, under the title: "The Evil Consequences of Schisms and Disputes for Power in Masonry and of Jealousies and Dissensions between Masonic Rites." The second half was not reproduced as it dealt with dissensions within Freemasonry that had ceased to be by the time of original publication. Very light shelf wear else a tight, bright VG + copy.
