Each issue in blue stapled wrappers printed in black, a few illustrations. Six non-consecutive issues of this Astrological quarterly, edited by Ronald Davison. Davison was also the author of a number of books on astrology most notably: "Synastry : Understanding Human Relations Through Astrology." The issues collected together as each has some Aleister Crowley related content. This includes: "Aleister Crowley; A Study of an Enigma" by Arthur Gauntlett , a letter from a reader entitled: "The Horoscope of Aleister Crowley" in which the reader criticizes Gauntlett (despite Gauntlett's recent passing and resulting inability to defend his work); and "The Five Jugglers" by Prier Wintle - which looks at a number of occultists including Crowley, Gurdjieff, Steiner, Blavatsky etc. Other Crowley content is very slight, usually just a few words in passing. Various other related essays including an astrological profile of George Ivanovich Gurdjieff. Originally from the collection of Crowley researcher and collector Nicholas Bishop-Culpeper, most recently from the library of Clive Harper with his discreet book-label neatly tipped in at the rear. Harper is well- known as the bibliographer of Austin Osman Spare, for updating the Aleister Crowley bibliography in the 2011 Teitan Press collection of Gerald Yorke's writings, and as someone who has lent his expertise to numerous other publications. Magazines are complete and clean VG + condition. An unusual collection of Crowleyana. Item #66715
