Hastings, East Sussex: NP, 1991. Author's Uncorrected Draft Print-out. Softcover. Quartos. One title in 3 spiral bound volumes. A4 sheets, white comb bound with plain white paper covers. Consecutively paginated - total 298pp + vi page bibliography, 11 b&w plates. A print-out of "an early and largely uncorrected draft" of the book that would later be published as "Qabalah. A Magical Primer". The author, John Bonner, is a long time Qabalist and senior member of the OTO in the UK. Bound in at the front of the first volume is a typed, letter SIGNED, from Bonner to Clive Harper, in which he explains that the book is "meant to be a simple primer for magicians in general and Thelemic magicians in particular" and asks Harper to review and comment on it. The works was subsequently published as "Qabalah. A Magical Primer" by Skoob Books (London / 1992) and WeiserBooks (Boston / 2002). There are sure to be major textual difference between this draft and the published version - which appears to have been considerably shortened - but was have not been able to compare them. From the collection of Clive Harper with his discreet book-label neatly tipped in at the rear of each binder. Harper is well- known as the bibliographer of Austin Osman Spare, for updating the Aleister Crowley bibliography in the 2011 Teitan Press collection of Gerald Yorke's writings, and as someone who has lent his expertise to numerous other publications. Light signs of handling but all in near Fine condition. A large and heavy set - additional will be required to all destinations and may be prohibitive on international orders. Item #67188
