Huysman's classic autobiographical novel of decadence and occultism in fin de siècle Paris. We believe this to be the first printing of the University books edition, as it has the copyright date 1958, and no later printings indicated, but University Books were not always consequent in identifying editions so we can't say state that to be so with certainty. Very light shelf wear, spine slightly darkened, light bumps to points at edges, pages and page edges a bit toned. Unmarked, thus a tight, clean VG + copy (No dust jacket.). Item #67249
