The first edition of this account of the "Crystal Skull" - now generally known as or the Mitchell-Hedges skull - allegedly found beneath the ruined atlar of a Mayan temple in the 1920s. Very light shelf wear and rubbing, top edge darkened. The condition would rate well but it has extensive pencil underlining and notes throughout - far too many to erase. In a lightly rubbed but otherwise VG+ price clipped dust jacket (now protected by a removable mylar sleeve). Item #67925
