A serious study of the magical path by Walter Ernest Butler (1898-1978), who studied with Dion Fortune and was active in her Fraternity of the Inner Light for nearly twenty years. In later life he became acquainted with Gareth Knight and eventually went on to found his own group, the Servants of the Light, of which he remained the main teacher until not long before his death, at which time the mantle was passed to Dolores Ashcroft-Nowicki. Just a hint of shelf wear, lower corners and spine ends lightly bruised, Atlantis Bookshop label on front pastedown, pages lightly toned but bright and unmarked. Overall a tight, clean near Fine copy in VG+ dust jacket (Dust jacket is a bit darkened at all edges and extremities, lightly chafing & creasing to edges and points, not clipped.
