Despite some factual shortcomings, it is still the standard source of information on Mathers. This British first edition is more desirable than the American edition, which does not reproduce the magnificent frontispiece portrait of Mathers in colour. Light bruising to lower spine, top edge a bit darkened, Helios bookshop label on front blank. Overall a tight, bright and unmarked near Fine copy in VG+ dust jacket (Dust jacket is very lightly chafed at edges and points, not clipped. Now in mylar cover). Item #68877
