The true first (UK) edition of this volume in which Grant explores the "Tree of Death" and other aspects and manifestations of the Left-Hand path of Magick. "Nightside of Eden" was retrospectively declared to be the first volume of the "Second Typhonian Trilogy". This volume has apparently been kept in a somewhat damp house, as it has a slightly musty odour (this would probably dissipate if the book were aired out in a dry place for a little while). Corners and spine ends very lightly bruised, edges of text block a little darkened, small bookseller's label on the front free-endpaper. The first half-dozen leaves (including the frontispiece and title-page) have some uneven, splotchy toning. Otherwise a tight, clean VG+ copy in better-than-VG dust jacket (dust jacket price-clipped, a little chafing and some tiny chips at the edges; both panels, spine and folds somewhat rubbed.
