Aesch Mezareph or Purifying Fire; a Chymico-Kabalistic Treatise Collected from the Kabala Denudata of Knorr Von Rosenroth, Preface, notes and explanations by "Sapere Aude" [ Æsch Mezareph ].

Kila, MT: Kessinger Publishing Company, ND ( ca 2000? ). Reprint. Softcover. Quarto. 60pp, Yellow glossy card covers with black titling etc. A short work on the "kabalistic scheme of alchymy" which survived, in fragmentary state, as part of the "Kabala Denudata" of Knorr Von Rosenroth. It was originally published in 1894 as the fourth volume of the "Collectanea Hermetica" series, edited by W. Wynn Westcott (1848 – 1925), who also authored the Preface, Notes and Explanations under his magical name / motto "Sapere Aude." Westcott was of course one of the founders of the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn, Supreme Magus of the Societas Rosicruciana in Anglia (SRIA), and Master of Quatuor Coronati Lodge (the well-known London Masonic Lodge devoted to Masonic research). The present edition was published by Kessinger Publishing Company and is basically an enlarged format facsimile of the first edition, with a replacement title-page. A clean, tight VG + copy.
