Item #70888 The Revival of Magick. Aleister CROWLEY, The Master Therion.

The Revival of Magick.

Berkeley, CA: Pangenetor Lodge Publications / The O.T.O., 1994. First Edition Thus. Softcover. Octavo. 8.5 in. x 5.5 inches. 36pp. Stapled booklet. Green card covers, lettered and illustrated in black with author and title printed in black within a Greek-revival style decorative border on the front wrapper. An essay by Crowley on Magick that was originally published in four parts in four consecutive issues of "The International" magazine (Vol.XI. Nos.8 - 11, August - November 1917). This new edition was one of a series of pamphlets published by Pangenetor Lodge of the O.T.O. whose Lodge Master was Marlene Cornelius, then-wife of J. Edward (Jerry) Cornelius, both of whom were closely involved in their production. There are two forms of the booklet, one (as this copy) in Green wrappers with a decorative "Greek-revival style border" and the other with an Egyptian style border on the front wrapper. Precedence of issue is not known. From the library of Clive Harper with his discreet book-label neatly tipped in at the rear. Harper is well-known as the bibliographer of Austin Osman Spare, for updating the Aleister Crowley bibliography in the 2011 Teitan Press collection of Gerald Yorke's writings, and as someone who has lent his expertise to numerous other publications. A little faded at spine and a hint of creasing. Still a near-fine copy. Item #70888
