With the Buddhist themed stamped ex-libris of Helen Graham Park, an architect who devoted much of her life to the study of consciousness in particular in relation to Buddhism, Jungian psychology, quantum physics. She had a special interest in Tibetan Buddhism and medicine and in the late 1940's spent a year or more in India and the Himalayan territories researching with her partner Theos Bernard, the American author of books on Tibet and Hatha yoga who disappeared in September 1947 after leaving Park in the Kulu valley and attempting to travel on into Tibet.
Cloth a little rubbed and slightly darkened with a few small marks. Corners and spine ends lightly bruised. A little shadowing to first and last few leaves, otherwise an evenly toned solid and clean VG+ copy (no dust jacket issued). Item #72981
