This limited edition hardcover is limited to 350 hand-numbered of the SIGNED edition, limited to 350 numbered copies, SIGNED by Simon on a specially bound-in parchment coloured limitation page. A history and defence of the "Simon version" of the "Necronomicon", by far the best-known of a number of texts that bear the title. Simon, who wrote this book, and the original Introduction to the eponymous "Necronomicon", has been identified as author Peter Levenda. He is also suspected of actually having written the text, although as far as we know this is unconfirmed. The "Simon Necronomicon" has been dismissed by many as a hoax, whilst others defend it as an authentic magical text: it is genuinely interesting to read his own reflections on it. Merest hint of shelf-wear, otherwise a bright, clean copy in Fine condition (no dust jacket issued). Item #73249
