The first issue of Starfire appeared in 1986, and it has been an occasional Journal of the New Aeon, with special focus on the Thelemic and Typhonian currents, ever since. Starfire Vol II No 4 is a substantial volume which includes thirteen articles and essays, two short stories, four artworks, and a section of book reviews. The contents include: In Memoriam: Kenneth Grant by Michael Staley – a preliminary survey of some key elements in the substantial body of mystical and magical work which Kenneth Grant bequeathed us for further development.; The Obsidian Sabbat by Daniel Schulke – some considerations of the body of lore and sorcerous praxis which comprise the Sabbatic path; Creativity and Imagination by Michael Staley – an essay on the primacy of Imagination as the source of inspiration and creativity; Grid Sigil Magick by Robert Podgurski – considerations concerning the ramifications of a sigil which was revealed several years ago to the author, among others. Hint of shelf rubbing to covers, tiny bumps to corners. This was basically a "New" that received the hint of wear in transit. Everything else about it still feels "new", thus in near Fine condition.
