Chicago IL: The Teitan Press, Inc., 1986. First Edition Thus. Hardcover. Octavo. xxiv + 198 pp. White cloth with gilt title, etc. to spine, gilt facsimile signature on front cover, frontis. This copy SIGNED by the editor, Martin P. Starr, by way of a bookplate loosely inserted at the front of the volume. This edition with an insightful Prolegmenon by Martin P. Starr. Crowley's most infamous pornographic work. "Snowdrops" was apparently written by Crowley with the intention of penning the most ridiculously extreme sexual fantasy ever produced - for the edification of his wife Rose. Most copies of the first edition (circa 1904) are thought to have been destroyed by British Customs. A lovely, bright, tight copy with just a hint of shelf wear - otherwise appears unused. Thus a near Fine copy in near-Fine jacket (Dust jacket panels has a couple of tiny marks to the front panel, now protected by a removable mylar cover.). Item #73893
