The book comprises essays plus superb full colour images of the complete Papyrus of Ani juxtaposed with what is generally acknowledged as the best modern English language translation of the text. SIGNED by James (Jim) Wasserman (1948-2020) on the title page. Wasserman was an American author, publisher, occultist, and longtime stalwart of the O.T.O. who in addition to his studies of the occult and Templarism was fascinated by the ancient Middle & Near East. It was Wasserman's idea to produce the book, and he also contributed a Foreword. A hint of shelf rubbing to the wrappers and one tiny tear to the bottom of the title-page, otherwise like new and that a fresh, tight and clean near-Fine copy.
