The Eye in the Triangle. An Interpretation of Aleister Crowley.
Phoenix AZ: Falcon Press, 1982. Second Limited Edition. Hardcover. Thick Octavo. xxxii + 526pp. Original black pebbled cloth spine with maroon leatherette boards, gilt title, etc. to spine and front cover, illustrations. Edition limited to 250 numbered copies hand-numbered and SIGNED by Israel Regardie, this being copy no. 182. It was first published in 1970, there was a second printing in 1974, and this third printing was published as both a regular hard cover and this signed, limited edition in 1982. "The Eye in the Triangle" obviously contains much on Crowley's involvement with the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn and the development of his creed of Thelema, as well as an examination of Crowley from a psycho-analytic perspective. This 1982 edition includes an Introduction by Robert Anton Wilson. Just a touch of light shelf-wear to edges, edges of text-block a little darkened, pages show a little even toning but still bright, tight and clean. Overall a VG+ to near-Fine copy of this scarce edition. Still in the original, and now uncommon, thick protective transparent acetate wrapper. Item #74580
