The, enhanced 2013 edition of "Cults of the Shadow", the third volume of the first Trilogy of Grant's Typhonian Trilogies. Completely corrected, and reset, this edition includes the errata page originally prepared by Chris Johnson in the 1990s - which has been integrated within the text. The new edition also incorporates additional important notes and corrections from Grant's own personal copy of this volume. Where possible, the original artwork was photographed anew, and reproduced in color as the original edition was only in black and white. Present-day exponents of these Mysteries have formed their own cults for the revival and promulgation of this Secret Gnosis. Among them are Aleister Crowley, with his Cult of the Beast and the Scarlet Woman; Charles Stansfeld Jones, with his curious qabalistic researches; Austin Osman Spare, the artist who evolved his own system of sexual sorcery based upon ancient secrets of Witchcraft; and Michael Bertiaux, with his Cult of the Black Snake. This "enhanced" edition is far scarcer than might be anticipated as many copies were stored, unsold, in Starfire's North London lock-up,when a disastrous fire swept through it in 2017, destroying almost all the stock. An unused copy thus "as New", but for a very light bump to upper spine edge. Thus near Fine condition in Fine mylar protected dust jacket. Item #74589
